Last week our Head Sommeliers jetted off to Piemonte to meet the producers behind the labels (and their families!), to tuck into seriously good food and sample some of the best wines the region has to offer. Ed Osborne, Head Sommelier at THE PIG-near Bath shares his travel journal with us.

Festival season is almost upon us, and we can’t wait! We are thrilled to be hosting four Smoked & Uncut festivals this year across THE PIGS and our sister hotel Lime Wood. You might have spotted on our Smoked & Uncut social channels that more main stage acts have been announced with further acts and DJ’s to be announced in the next few weeks.

Just a short stroll away from THE PIG-at Bridge Place (1.7 miles), The Oak & Rope Company create personalised oak and rope swings as well as other unique solid oak products at their workshop in Kent.

Our second PIG book is hitting the shelves on 12th May 2022… A lot has happened in the three years since we published our first book! Three new PIGs and of course a global pandemic to contend with… it has certainly not been boring!

Today is International Women’s Day, which celebrates the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women around the world! Whilst we can’t spotlight them all (though we wish we could!), we thought this would be the perfect opportunity to introduce you to a few of our brilliant, influential, and inspirational women within the #PIGpeople family, and gather their thoughts on what this day means to them - grab a cup of tea and have a read!
